• Thoroughly clean the surface to which the protective film is to be applied using an isopropyl cleaner or degreaser; do not use products such as alcohol, lighter fluid, or white spirit since these substances leave a greasy residue that will limit the adhesive's ability to bond to the surface to be protected.

• Fill the spray bottle with water; the spray bottle contains a small amount of concentrated lubricant that when mixed with water produces a suitable solution. Once the surface has been cleaned and all contaminants removed, spray the mounting solution onto the paint area to be protected. Generously spray the adhesive face of the part to be mounted with the mounting solution. This will greatly facilitate the positioning of the film in place. Avoid touching the adhesive once it is dry so as not to leave a fingerprint on the motorcycle film; wetting your fingers will help avoid leaving fingerprints.

• Once the film is properly positioned, begin application, working with half of the film at a time with a squeegee to expel 100% of the air and liquid, the movement should be from the center to the edges. Also spray the top face of the film to allow the squeegee to slide smoothly.

• When film is to be applied to curved panels there will have to be some tension to allow the film to conform to the contours of the panel. Pull gently in the desired direction and you will see that the film will conform naturally to the curvature of the panel. Continue to push out any water or air bubbles left under the film by passing the squeegee evenly from the center area of the film to the outer edges. This will produce a perfectly clear appearance.

• If the film must be repositioned during the application process, partially remove and spray the solution onto both the surface to be protected and the adhesive side of the film. If any creases should appear in the film, work it toward an edge using your squeegee or thumb to gently stretch the film.

• Wipe off the excess liquid with a paper towel, and finally, use a hair dryer or hot air gun to heat the film to ensure a strong and durable bond. Do not exceed 80° C
